I am one of the lucky people who felt called to something in particular. I love working with kids, and I loved having kids, and I love reading books for kids. I’ve been a children’s librarian for a sickening number of years, and the magic is that doing a storytime still makes me just as happy now as it did all those years ago. That’s thanks to the kids, and thanks to the authors and illustrators.
